COLLECTIONS

In this section I am proud to present for you the objects and furnishings that I have selected over the last few years and that represent the finest examples of my personal taste.

Each and every piece is for sale and may be viewed in my showroom in Via Tofane, 5 in Milan.

They are all furnishings, objects and works of art that date from the early 1900’s to the present day except for some of my very own passions such as architectural maquettes. My work is focused upon the arts of the furnace: iron forged byUmberto Bellotto, Alberto Gerardi, Carlo Rizzarda and Alessandro Mazzucotelli from the very beginnings of the last century to the 1930’s, ceramics produced in Italy by the most important manufactories of Lenci, Ginori, Laveno and Faenza but also one-off unique pieces by artists like Domenico Baccarini, Pietro Melandri and Galileo Chini right up to the period immediately after the Second World War with Fausto Melotti, Nanni Valentini and Carlo Zauli.

My most favourite art remains, however, glass and I possess a vast selection of Murano vases; works that have come out of the furnaces of Venini, Barovier & Toso, F.lli Toso, Seguso, Aureliano Toso and Archimede Seguso designed by artists of the calibre of Vittorio Zecchin, Napoleone Martinuzzi, Ercole Barovier, Tomaso Buzzi, Carlo Scarpa, Flavio Poli, Dino Martens, Toni Zuccheri. From those very same companies in Murano I I have one of the widest selections of chandeliers, wall light appliques, ceiling lights and lighting in general, all made between 1920 and 1970.

A selection is also dedicated to Fontana Arte, a Milanese company that I have always admired on account of its extraordinary design skills and the impeccable degree of execution in the products that the company has made for some of the most beautiful houses in Italy.

The artist of the Twentieth century that I have most loved – and of whom I preserve a detailed archive – is the architect, Gio Ponti. I possess drawings, design projects, furnishings, ceramics, glass and metals created by him over sixty years in association with his most loyal craftsmen and women.

As well as my dealing in all of these works I also evaluate collections and provide expertise  in estimating the value and worth of works of art with my thirty-year experience at the disposal of my clients.
